Celtic Roots Concert

River North featuring Award-Winning singer/songwriters Heather Christine and Matt Zaddy are pleased to be teaming up with Nurse Next Door Mississauga to present their 5th Annual Celebration of Irish and Scottish Music “Celtic Roots”. The popular concert will air live on St. Patrick’s Day (Wednesday, March 17, 2021) at 7pm on the River North Facebook page at facebook.com/RiverNorthCanada and live on Youtube.
Back by popular demand, the concert will showcase internationally celebrated artists including Violinist Brigit O’Regan with Percussionist/Bodhrán Player Jacob McCauley and Mississauga’s Award-Winning BFOC Irish Dancers. Celtic Roots will delight audiences with its high-calibre musicianship and virtual cabaret experience.

“Music lovers of all ages are invited to join us and sing-along at this annual event,” explains Lucie Shaw, Owner of Nurse Next Door. “We are pleased to support this event which brings so much joy and community spirit to the people of Mississauga. We are pleased to have collaborated with Matt and Heather throughout COVID-19 to present a variety of live and virtual performances for Mississauga residents and seniors alike”. 

Audiences can expect a mix of Irish and Scottish folk music classics along with modern music that all ages will enjoy! Sing-a-long to music by The Dubliners, Celtic Women, Christie Moore, The Chieftans, The Irish Rovers and more.
